Corporate Overview
ELK-Desa Furniture Sdn Bhd (‘ELK-Desa Furniture’) was incorporated in Malaysia on 18 February 2015 under the Companies Act, 1965. As at 31 April 2016, the paid up capital of the Company is RM8 million.
ELK-Desa Furniture is the wholly owned subsidiary of ELK-Desa Resources Berhad (“ELK-Desa Resources”) which is listed on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad with a market capitalization of approximately RM230 million as at 30 April 2016.
ELK-Desa Resources through its wholly-owned subsidiary, ELK-Desa Capital Sdn Bhd is primarily involved in the business of hire purchase financing for used motor vehicles.

Furniture Industry and Value Proposition
Furniture is an essential good for every household and office. Despite the intense competition, the market is huge in view of the estimated 30 million population in Malaysia.
With the strong financial backing from its parent listed company and the experienced Management team, ELK-Desa Furniture believes that it is well positioned to grow steadily in the furniture industry, with committed focus on the home furnishing segment.
Retail Outlets
Currently, we have one (1) furniture retail showrooms:-
- Bandar Ambang Botanic, Klang
The various retail outlets will actively organise Members’ Days and Warehouse Sales to treat our loyal customers with attractive discounts.
Wholesale and Export
We are currently distributing furniture products under our own House Brand ELK-DeSA to more than 800 furniture retailers throughout Malaysia.
In addition, we export our furniture to other countries including Australia, United States of America, Africa, Brunei, Japan, Korea, Middle East and Singapore.
Manufacturing
Riding on our Management’s experience in sofa manufacturing, we have started the sofa production under our House Brand ELK-DeSA in 2016.
